After-Prom

After-Prom is an alcohol- and drug-free party alternative for high school students following the Prom Dance which is Saturday, April 28 from 8:00pm-midnight at Martin’s West. After-Prom attracts around 500 students who come for the activities, food and amazing prizes.  A $10 ticket gives students access to all of this:

Activities: Dodge Ball Tournament, Bungee Basketball, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Broom Hockey, Family Feud, Bounce House, Caricature Artists, Henna Tattoo Artists, and a Rock Climbing Wall.

Food: All-you-can-eat Chick-fil-A, Vocelli’s Pizza, Qdoba, Rita’s, Cinnabons, Starbucks coffee bar, Tino’s meatballs, Salazar Catering’s baked Ziti, and more!

Prizes: Game systems (PS4 & Xbox), Apple Watch, Beats wireless headphones, GoPro, Fitbits, instant cameras, Keurig, Dorm fridge & microwave, Under Armour gear, dorm packages, juniors only packages, over 100 gift cards to give away, huge cash prizes, and so much more.

Tickets will be sold April 23-27 during lunch, and additional details will be posted here as Prom approaches.  Keep checking back for the latest information!

After-Prom is open to every MTH Junior or Senior. Last year we sold 494 tickets – our most ever! We are hoping to break 500 this year. Parents, your child will not be the only one there. After-Prom is hosted by the Mt. Hebron PTSA and staffed by parents, MTH staff, and even “graduated” parents, who return to help.

It costs $25,000 to fund After-Prom, which is supported entirely through fundraisers like our mulch sale, parent donations, corporate sponsorships, grants, and community donations.

Your help is needed to keep this event going.

Volunteer:

Help out at After-Prom – before, during, or after the party. The Sign-Up Genius will go live at the end of March.

Tuxedo Sales:

Don’t want to spend an evening or weekend waiting in line at the men’s store for that Prom tux? Get your student’s tuxedo at school! The PTSA will again be partnering with M. Stein Tuxedos to provide convenient at-school measurement and rental of tuxedos. Prices begin at $75 for a basic black & white tuxedo up to $162 for designer styles. Accessories like shoes, suspenders and pocket squares are also available.

M. Stein will be at school during all lunches on March 20 and 21 to offer FREE measuring for tuxes. Students can look at sample tuxedos there and in the several M. Stein catalogs online, then place orders online at their convenience. The best part is that students will pick their tuxedo up FROM SCHOOL the Thursday before Prom, then return it TO SCHOOL the Monday after Prom. How easy is that? Continue to check back for dates and more information as Prom draws nearer.

If you have any questions, need assistance or clarification, please feel free to email M. Stein at msteintuxedos@hotmail.com, visit their website www.msteintuxedos.com or call 301-703-9422.
